| The king has recently sent me a letter, and in it he instructed me to ensure the housing of several guests he has sent ahead of him. In particular, a lady which he does not want revealed to the court until he commands she be seen.
The lady, at least, is of noble birth, and shall be treated as such. She is to have my quarters, and I in the meantime shall sleep in the barracks. I want several of you to intercept these guests when they enter the city, and bring them right to the Chapter House unless the king says otherwise.
Remember your manners, as always. We, more than any other Order, represent our king.
